    Great stove

Great stove. Love that I can cook small amounts of food and not have to warm up the entire oven. There is even a place for the oven divider (between the two doors) to be stored in the bottom drawer. As for the stove, no issues thus far.

Best Range I have ever owned

Samsung has created a winner with their 5.9cu. ft Electric Range with Flex Duo. The multiple size cooking rings on the ceramic top surface make it easy to cook a large meal and the additional warming area is great for keeping a dish hot until dinner time. The dual door design allows you to cook two separate dishes are completely different temperatures. Before this range, I needed to stagger my cook times and temperatures to accommodate. With this range, I can plan to slow cook a roast or other large item in the bottom section and use the convection feature to bake crisp cookies in the top. Both top and bottom have their own timer and temperature control. Because this range is wifi enabled, I can control and monitor cook times or turn on the over with the use of Samsung’s Smart Things application. My kids love using just the top convection portion of the oven to reheat leftovers or bake cookies. Because the top section is smaller, its quick to heat up and is more energy efficient. One thing to keep in mind is how quickly and evenly the convection works in this appliance. It will take a little time to adjust your cooking times to accommodate. If larger items are being cooked, the divider is easily removed. The one handle design with a latch to open just the top is a well-made. This appliance is well made and a pleasure to use. I can’t wait for the holiday season to really put this appliance to the test.

    Not cooking tonight!

    Not a reliable product

Spent a ton of money on this stove and love it when it works. Glass top scratches and cracked easily, control panel went bad in 18 months. You don’t expect to have to replace parts regularly on a stove in this price range. My mother has a glass top stove from the early 80’s that has been heavily used and hasn’t had an issue in nearly 40 years. This one with low usage won’t last 2. Shame on Samsung!

Good stove, but hot surface light won’t go out 🙁

We have had this stove for almost 2 years and we like it, other than the hot surface light started acting up a few months after the warranty ended. Now it never goes out, so we really have no idea if the surface is actually hot, so this safety feature has now become a liability. I would have given it 5 stars if not for this issue. Seems like a common issue with Samsung stoves as it is all over the USA Samsung forum. Our old stove from other manufacturer work flawlessly for 14 years. Never had hot surface light issue and that stove is still working perfectly at the cottage.

    terrible range

We bought this range in April 2013. Within the first year, we had to get it services 2-3 times because it stopped working. We received a new range from Samsung which was great. However, it continued to give us trouble i.e. stopped working. We did have an extended warranty so the servicing was free. 2 major parts were replaced in 2017. The upper oven does not work properly so we always have to use the lower. Just last week, it stopped working again. However, because of its track record, I am seriously considering buying another range as it will no doubt break down again. No more Samsung for us.

    Very nice,appliance.

We purchased this range about 3 weeks ago after our 10 year old Kitchen Aid lost the best burner. We had gotten used to there only being one very good burner. Our new Samsung has four very good burners and it has been easy to use. The instructions are fairly easy to follow somthere isn’t any lingering learning curve. The range is well instrumented with graphics to show you what the oven thinks you want to do. Very easy to correct if you’ve done something not quite right.
We are getting used to the convection feature which we never used with our previous range. So far so good.

great features and love the double oven!

We bought this oven and the rest of the kitchen appliances 3 yrs ago when we remodeled and have been very happy with samsung appliances. The double oven is super handy and we loved the black stainless look.
