    Home Oven

    Poor vent location, melted readout and controls

    The oven has a central vent at the rear of the cooktop. Over time the heat melted the electronics. We had it fixed at 2/3 the original purchase price. Within 8 weeks of the repair the same thing happened again. Very disappointed.

    Range is nice looking. Samsung customer is poor.

    The SThe Samsung range is fair. Samsung costumer service is poor at best. After After two months of proper operation our range developed a strong natural gas smell only when a burner was in use. Made no sense to us, but there it was. Samsung sent a third party tech to investigate. The tech confirmed the smell and used a gas detector to pinpoint the leak to above the burner flames only. He contacted Samsung who had him disassemble the range top to check for leaks everywhere. Again, the only, and persistent, leak was consistently detected above the burner flames. Another call to Samsung resulted in the Samsung tech declaring this to be a NORMAL condition hoping we would accept this line of bs and go away. Nope! So, off to Home Depot I went to see if they could assist. The head appliance person called Samsung. The genius on the Samsung end asked to speak with me and told me that at this point I need to call our local gas company… seriously? The Home Depot representative finally convinced the genius that the issue was with the range and a Samsung tech needs to address the issue. I was guaranteed a Samsung rep would contact me within 24 hours. That was two days ago… crickets. This will be my first and last Samsung anything.

    Not great quality

    I purchased this stove two and a half years ago. After regular usage, all five control knobs are cracked and/or broken. They are not covered under the extended warranty from Lowe’s, which considers them cosmetic. Samsung will not replace them as the extended warranty was purchased from Lowe’s, not Samsung. Although all other functions of the stove are fine, I am extremely disappointed in both the Lowe’s warranty and Samsung’s customer service. I will have a great deal of trouble justifying buying another Samsung product. The quality just isn’t there any more.

    Black stainless peels

    Don’t buy the black stainless it peels after a few months of use. I spent a lot of money for the refrigerator, dishwasher and stove and wish I went with the stainless. Samsung already replaced the range door once and the same issue happened again. Seems like the heat from the stove makes it peel after months of use

    Control module bad (error codes)

    I bought this about three years ago. It started beeping for no reason at all hours of the day and night. a week or two later, the oven wouldn’t turn on or I couldn’t turn it off. I ended up replacing the control panel/module. $200+ for service.

    dont waste you time or your money!

    Purchased this stove in Jan 2017. In 2018 had to have a repairman come and fix oven. Temperature would not reach set degree(never came off of 150.)
    Fixed. Now in 2019 I am having the same problem. Guess I’ll have to call repair man again. Another $200.00 This oven sucks!!!

    oven won’t come to temp. self cleaning feature doesn’t work. they have fixed it twice under warranty, which expired last year, we still have the problem. won’t purchase another samsung

    So far so excellent!

    this a beautiful range with amazing features. i haven’t used the convection function yet, but i did skirt steaks on the included griddle and 5th burner, and they turned out great.

    Bought this in 2017.. two knobs are broken and useless. very poor design. Seems the Samsung rep is not responding to these issues. Come rep.. speak up.. where do we find replacements.. ?

    horrible, main computer board had to be replaced in the first month. . 3 years later our oven won’t turn on. seems to be a common problem when researching this oven now.

    Perfect Family Stove

    the oven pre-heats very quickly and you can cook four casserole dishes at once. cleans very easily, just soap and water or stainless steel polisher.
