    Don’t Buy.

The stove top scratches easily. It’s terrible. Really disappointed with the range.

“Cosmetic” damage after a month. Terrible service.

Bought this oven two months ago everything seemed fine. A month into using it, I noticed that the face plate above the display was starting to appear to wear. upon closer inspecting it appeared as if the black stainless steel layer was actually coming off in spots for no apparent reason (No scrubbing / harsh cleaning chemicals used or any impact from utensils), revealing the regular stainless steel under it. I think its agreeable that this is not normal for the stove to be doing, but regardless of that Samsung stuck to their “48 hr cosmetic warranty”. So despite this brand new product basically being defective, there is no option other than to buy a new $360 part. Samsung had no empathy towards me at all. I understand the 48 hour warrant (Ridiculous in my opinion), but there needs to be some sort of customer care with such a company. Seems extremely unfair that I buy a brand new expensive product and after a month of light use I am expected to pay the almost $400 to replace a part. To be honest, not buying anything Samsung after my terrible product and customer service experience.

We bought the range over three months ago and we are very happy with how it works and how it looks!

    Extramely poor quality

we bought it in December 2016. a couple of months after, one burner’s light kept on regardless the surface is cold or hot. we called Samsung, and a technician came to repair, but it has never been fixed. We didn’t bother to call them again as the burner could cook. Then about 3-4 months ago, something under another burner was red when it is turned on, but the burner could work, so we thought this is just the poor quality. but the burner stopped working last weekend!

we spent $2000 to buy it and didn’t expect it last only over a year! if you want to buy a range that you can only look but not use because once you start to use it, the glass surface will be scratched; or if you expect it serves in a good condition for only a couple of months, you may try it!

    Great features!!

I bought this last month and I’m surprised because the cooktop heats up very quickly and the appearance is great.

    We like it

We purchased in Nov, 2018 and have used for a few months now. We do like this stove. Great features and works well.
The only complaint we have is the knobs are in front, and it is easy to lean over the range to do something, and bump a knob and turn on a burner without realizing it. This happened when I was installing an range hood.

    Poor quality

Had this stove break down numerous times while the warranty was active. Impossible to get a technician to my house without losing a day of work. Now the unit is out of warranty and I continue to have issues. The bridge range doesn’t work properly. Can only set to high. The nobs get loose so the range light stays on (possible fire hazard). Don’t feel like I got my money’s worth. Cost to repair justifies buying a new stove.

I hope this is a good one!

I took delivery on this unit on April Fool’s Day! I sure hope that this one works better than my last. I had purchased basically the exact unit when we built our new home about a year and a half ago. The first time I tried to use the self-clean feature, the control panel went dark after cleaning and the door would not open. I finally got Sears to come out and work on it, only about $130 dollars because there was literally no way that they could access (what she thought was the over heat switch) because all points of entrance were through the oven, which was “locked”. I felt very bad having it loaded on the delivery truck for scrap, because it was still such a beautiful unit. If I didn’t have the entire suite of Samsung appliances, I probably would have gone with a more reliable brand name.

    Stay away !

Broke only one year after we bought it. The convection fan broke, the heat sensor on the cooking surface broke also : both had to be changed. Problem with the probe : even when we don’t use it, the oven stops working if used for over 3 hours. We have to wait for it to cool down completely before we can start it again. Even with the long time garantee, they can’t fix that problem. The probe socket has been changed, the whole motherboard also… it still does it. Impossible to cook a stew or a big turkey without the oven turning off at mid-time. As if it was not enough, the ”black inox” coating started to peel off around the handle after a couple months only. They say that this issue is not garanteed… A real LEMON. Stay away.

    Terrible heat control on cooktop

Controlling the heat level of the two main cooktop burners is impossible. The glass surface retains high heat for so long that obtaining a “simmer” level just doesn’t happen. I’ve tried all sorts of settings to maintain a simmer for rice or sauces and the heat fluctuates so much that I get burned or undercooked food even while standing over the stove monitoring and I’ve had it since new over 4 years ago..
