    Hot Indicator Light Stuck On

    I’ve own this range for just over a year, for the past 5-6 months I’ve been noticing the Hot Indicator light has been staying on longer and longer, even when the range is cool to the touch. Now the light stays on permanently and I cannot use the self clean feature as the display flashes “hot” everytime I try. Bought a Samsung Fridge along with this product and have issues with both appliances. I do really like how quickly the oven heats up and the flexibility of removing the divider. Just wish Samsung products were better quality.

    Short Changed

    Parts Not available After Six Years

    I bought an equivalent model new 6 years ago had a Burner go out tried to get part but Samsung quite manufacturing Parts for the stove I would not buy any Samsung appliance they do not stand behind their products for very long

    Serviced Four Times Still Not Working Right

    We purchased the Samsung Duo a little over a year ago and thought we had made a good purchase; but then the holidays came and we noticed that the lower oven would not get to temperature it was set to. The only way to get the oven to heat was to use the entire oven. The repairman (Sears) came and following a flow chart declared the motherboard the problem. HE also said it would be resolved before Christmas. The part didn’t come until the new year. When installed the oven still didn’t heat right, it was now over heating 50+ degrees. Another repairman followed the flowchart and declared the sister board the problem. A couple weeks later it came in and it was installed but the original problem returned. The lower oven will not get to temperature and when using the whole oven once the buzzer announces it is at temperature, it takes at least another half an hour to actually get to temperature (checked with an analog gauge and a digital gauge).

    At this point we want it replaced.

    Display numerals have failed after one year.

    the bottom line of the number display has failed. this makes a “2” and “1” etc. so the clock now is usable. i guess i can always replace the display!

    One Glitch

    Range operating OK, except one glitch. We are very disappointed that just after the warranty period, we found the “hot surface light” stayed on constantly and won’t go off. A nice M&R expert from the authorized repair service advised that it may be a short between the element(s) and the hot surface indicator wires…and require replacement of the elements. Since it’s costly and there’s no issue with the elements’ functionality, we are not doing the repairs at this time, and would have to endure the constant red light in our range.

    Trouble begins.

    i bought my flex duo oven dec. 2018, door stopped latching, now have to pay to try to fix it even though there is clearly a history of this happening. frustrated.
