    Delivered today

    Haven’t had it long but really enjoying it. And just less than 2 hours it has cooled down the freezer and the refrigerator. Looks great and seems to work amazingly.

    Icemaker is terrible

    Purchased in Oct. 2016, icemaker made popping and clicking sounds from the start. I was told that the “newness” needed to wear off. It never stopped making noise and I found that the ice container was cracked along the bottom. Samsung sent someone to replace the container and the ice maker, however it was installed improperly. Once installed properly it worked OK, but still made noises. It is June of 2018 and the ice maker has completely stopped making ice, is still making noise, and the container is cracked again.

    Other than the ice maker it seems to be a reasonably good refrigerator

    The ice maker is awesome

    Very impressed with the overall features. The ease of everything. The ice maker puts out a lot of ice if needed. Very roomy on the inside and can be easily adjusted to fit ones needs. Definately would recommend.

    Ice maker water issues constantly

    Bought this fridge in Sept of 2016. Right after warranty period was up ice dispenser started leaking..now the ice maker constantly drips water and maker totally frosts over. This fridge may look good but what a hunk of junk.

    Ice Maker issues

    I bought about 1-1/2 years ago. Ice maker has frozen up 3 separate times so ice can’t come out. The bin is not easy to remove and had to use hair dryer to thaw so it would open. Calling plumber is next. Ugh

    Best performer for the price

    I have had this refrigerator/freezer for over 18 months. A well built unit with great capacity and features. I find the the small chest type freezer on the bottom with french door fridge on top most convenient construction layout possible. I chose this unit after extensive comparison shopping and research, I am still very happy with my choice. The best choice for the price that I could find and I have not been disappointed in the least.

    Ice maker is a bust

    We have owned does model for about a year and a half refrigerator and freezer work very well but the ice maker falls short of the rest of the product and samsung knows this but doesn’t seem to care. Mine has started freezing up and leaking water into the refrigerator section called samsung their response is defrost the entire refrigerator every 6 months, okay why didn’t I have to do that before? So we’re had a service company come out to check it they made a few adjustments and said most likely we will have to replace the icemaker 2 days later froze up again and water everywhere. Waiting on parts to try and fix so we’ll see believe the reviews when it comes to the issues with the icemaker do a little surfing online before you decide, wish I would have. I own several samsung products and have been pleased with them no do much with this one just because of the icemaker. What I replaced with this one was 10 years old still worked great but wasn’t the black stainless when we updated the kitchen. I do recommend samsung products but not this one.

    Covered in dents!

    Do not buy this refridgerator!! I bought this refridgerator from PC Richard in January. It has at least 10 dents in it and it’s not even a year old. It sits right next to my stainless steel Whirlpool dishwasher which is 3 years old and has not even one tiny dent. Also, there is a feature on the touch screen that if you hold 2 buttons for 3 seconds at the same time (which my babysitter did accidentally) and, unbeknownst to us, set it to Floor Display, turning off all the cold air. So I had to throw out everything in the freezer and most of what was in the refridgerator. The last thing I am unhappy with about is that the highest temperature setting feels more like the coldest, and the food placed in the back of the refridgerator gets frozen. Samsung told me I had to buy my own new doors and would not remedy the dent situation. After having spent $2,000 8 months ago for a brand new refridgerator! I would not even consider another Samsung product again.

    Buyer beware. Everything that Blings and Glitters isn’t Gold. We have had this Samsung Refrigerator for a 1 ½ years now. We bought the matching black satin Range, Washer, and Dryer as well to complete the set. This is a very nice-looking unit, with LED lighting that really stands out. It was the end of the big Christmas sale and this was the one we chose. The two big problems are the ice dispenser stopped working properly two months out of warranty. Over a 24-hour period it may fill the very tiny ice container about an 1/8 of an inch. I have to make an ice run to the local grocer, just to pick up a bag of ice to put in the dispenser (IRONY). Speaking of the Ice container it is made out of very cheap material and has developed several cracks now. Ironically, we did not get the extended warranty on the fridge but did get it on the Range because my wife was afraid the glass top might break or crack. The other problem is that it leaks water from the dispenser. You have to constantly wipe the back panel and the shallow dip tray. If you forget and open the door water will end up all over the floor. Water also drips onto the condiment shelves below the dispenser. I cut out a piece of a fabric dish mat to help with the drip pan. All this are known issues and they still sell this product

    Leaks!

    This refrigerator leaks (A LOT of water) down underneath the crispers and pantry drawer. We’ve had it repaired once, then about 5 months later the leaking started again. I believe it is due to the drain line freezing again. It seems there is no repair from Samsung other than to buy a new refrigerator or repeatedly thaw the line, but the problem keeps coming back and there is no permanent fix. When we decide to buy a new refrigerator we won’t be buying a Samsung!

    The fridge is not cooling but the freezer is fine

    I don’t recommend this fridge to anyone.
    1.It’s not cold enough and can’t keep the fruit and vegetables as long as my GE fridge.
    2.the inside design of the shelves are terrible and the cheese drawer is not cold enough and all our cheese going moldy after 2 weeks ( I was keeping the same brand cheeses for 6 month in my previous fridge)
    3.the quality of the material is so cheap

    I’ll appreciate it if someone from Samsung answer me and explain that why the temperature inside the fridge is not cold enough that cause of growing a lot of mold in the fridge or even ripping fruited very fast.

    Horrible Ice Maker

    The ice maker keeps freezing over and does not make ice. After many defrosting attempts the ice maker would make ice for a few days then stop again. Now the ice maker has completely stopped working. Not very good quality after only having this unit for about 18 months.

    Too Many Problems

    Owned fridge for 1.5 years when the problems started. Ice maker is useless and water puddling under cool pantry drawer is awful. Read all the reviews online before considering this unit.

    Broke twice within the first year of ownership. First repair was done with genuine Samsung parts/contractors/approval – and it still broke. Made loud noises since day one. More flash than substance.

    interior sliding doors are terrible

    This came with the house we just bought-it looks great but the plastic drawers are garbage. They don’t slide well at all, get hung up as if they’re off the track. It happens in both the fridge and freezer.

    I bought this refrigerator Sept 26, 2018 from Big Sandy in Lancaster, Ohio. Now just over 2 months later the icemaker leaked water all night on to the floor which ran down into the basement onto shelves and floor and ruined several hundred dollars worth of items. Do not buy!

    Big Disapointment from SAMSUNG

    Bought this refrigerator last fall, barely a year old and already the ice maker gets frosted over and leaks and stops dispensing ice. Started doing this at month 7. It is also very slow at dispensing ice. Of course now we are out of warranty and I doubt they will do anything about it. I did hear there was a service bulletin out about an issue with these. Our last one was a Kenmore and it lasted over 15 years! Will never buy another Samsung appliance.

    I think samsung should stick with making electronics. I bought this 25 cu ft french door refrigerator with ice maker soon as my warranty expired i started having problems with it had a technician over 6 time to my house and they cant not fix it everybody i talk to say the same thing about their appliances no good samsung.

    Unhappy remodel

    Terrible sound

    I have had the fridge for about 6 weeks. It makes a terrible noise all the time. You can hear it on the other floors in my house because it is so loud. Because of the pitch it often over powers the tv in the adjacent room. The repairman for another sumaung appliance that i am javing to have fixed said that is just the way it is made and have to live with it.

    I really hate this refrigerator. The ice maker in the refrigerator doesn’t work. The shelves have already cracked. I would never by a refrigerator with the ice maker in the door again. It takes up so much space and doesn’t work which is even more annoying. Great phones, bad appliances.

    Ice maker does NOT workk

    So two years ago i bought this fridge. And the right before the warranty expired the ice maker stopped working. Called for assistance but the only thing they said was to reset the ice maker. So i did and it worked for 2-3 weeks and it stopped. But by then the warranty expired. So for the past year because i no longer have the warranty. I have to reset the ice maker now every other day. And it got to a point that i will reset it and it doesnt work so we are without ice for a few days. The last day i reset it was 15 Mar 2019. Still no ice.

    Horrible Finish

    The refrigerator works fine and everything but the finish is so horrible my husband wants to get rid of it. We have no children, no pets, and yet it looks like it has been through a war. scratches and dents appear. Never have we had an appliance with such a horrible finish.
