    Defective Washer, Terrible Customwr Service

    Bought less than a year ago and the washer is defective. The spin cycle resets over and over until the machine is manually turned off. Hydro bills through the roof!! Customer service support was horrible, unapologetically forcing us to pay $300+ out of pocket for the issue to be fixed. I regret buying this machine and I will never purchase a Samsung product again. Unfair consumer practices and poor product quality. Truly a horrible customer experience. Ticket number 4148914785 if anyone at Samsung cares about customers…

    I want my Bosch back.

    We moved to a newly constructed house and I had ot leave my old washer and dryer behind. WE thought the samsung would be perfect for our beautiful new laundry room. Boy how wrong we were.
    1) Washer does not clean anywhere near as effectively as my old one which was 10 years old. Clothes seem dingier after a year of washing in this machine.
    2) Front “add wash” feature is rather silly. You have to stop the washer full stop before using the little front door, at which time you might as well open the large one. The little front door frequently smells awful, and I was told by a repair man that we need to wipe it down after every load. So this great “time saving” washer now requires me to open the useless little door and wipe it down after every load?
    3) No real control. Do not be fooled by the buttons – you can’t change some of the setting depending on which cycle you choose. For example, if you want to wash something on extra hot, with low spin – good luck finding that setting. Normal won’t allow me to go above warm. ?Heavy duty lets me do really hot, but I can’t do no spin. I just want to select the combos I want – not something that someone at Samsung decided was optimal.
    4) Leaks constantly … had service person in as it was constantly triggering our wet floor alarm. Was told it’s normal that it’s just the “overflow” . seriously – normal for a washer to leak?

    5) Thought we would use the notify system – nope never use it – never.

    The only thing I like about this washer is the little song it plays when it’s done. (a song which drives my husband batty btw 😉

    Malfunction after a couple months

    We bought these late 2018. Had them installed Jan 5. Serivice guy out twoce already for dryer not drying clothes. Now the washer is leaving soapy water in the floor. Either we got two lemons or Samsung appliances are garbage. Most likely last Samsung appliances I ever buy. I don’t even want these anymore

It is the easy to use. A consumer will not have problems with this washer if they follow directions on clean the unit and the filters.

    2 repairs needed in 2 years – Do Not Buy

    I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this machine. I have never had issues with any fairly new large appliances in my life until this washer. We purchased it and the matching dryer 2 years ago. Last year it started going in an endless loop between the rinse and spin cycle. The bracket in the back was broken and needed to be replaced. Now, almost another year later we are experiencing the same issue. However, this time it is the main control panel which is an expensive fix. I realize that it is past warranty but 2 major issues in 2 years is not acceptable but Samsung does not seem to care. I guess that is what I get from buying an expensive appliance from an electronics company.

    Worst product don’t buy.

    Please don’t buy any Samsung washer or dryer because they don’t honor their warranty. Secondly, the washer or dryer has 99 problems that Samsung can’t solve. Please stay away ASAP.

    Machine refilling with water – defective!

    I bought this machine 2 weeks ago and in the second week the washer is filling up with water by itself. We were told to check if pipes were leaking etc, we did and there’s no leak. Please note that we were instructed to purchase new hose and pipes etc, which we did. Also the delivery people were the ones that did all the connection.

    Additionally, the quick wash function does not work at all. After several attempts to wash just underwear it keeps giving us the 4C error code. Why would I want a machine where only the functions on the left works but not those on the right!!????

    I phoned on July 27th and reported the issue and got a service number. I was informed that on Monday, July 29th the following week I would hear from a technician. One week after, I heard from no one. I called back and they said the ticket was closed and that someone called me once on Monday! Please note I work in an environment where I can take and make phone calls, I also have voicemail, no one called me. The rep told me that the protocol dictates that they should call 3 times but they only called once and closed the ticket.

    The next step now I was told is that I will receive another call from the service centre as soon as they are available!!!

    I am very disappointed, if my old machine didn’t want to be replaced I would still have it. I now have to be paying for a defective machine that no one wants to come and repair!!!

    It was so easy to purchase the machine but it’s one of the hardest things to get some proper customer service!!! I know for sure that I won’t be purchasing another piece of Samsung appliance and especially from Home Depot.

    Service is everything and you should pay attention to people who purchase your products!!!

    Let’s see if I receive a call today Saturday, August 3 or Tuesday August 6, on when a technician would oblige a visit to fix Samsung’s defective washer.
