    too tall

I am 5 foot 7 and cannot reach the bottom of the tub. I have to use a step stool to retrieve my clothes. Lid lock is on the front of the machine and digs into you when retrieving your clothes. Machine does not start filling right away. It runs a series of tests. Leaves you standing there wondering if it is going to start or not.

    Don’t buy

Disappointed in my Samsung washer and dryer. The pre soak only gives you the option of ice cold so you can’t hand wash anything unless you wear gloves. When it’s on the “spin” only cycle, it continues to add water. Also, the dial to change the cycles lags and is slow.
I was much happier with my old appliances!

    tecnical level, High

    poor cleaning

Water level has not increase with load capacity. Poor design.
I do not exceed 25 capacity for best cleaning.

    Laundry Insanity

I have owned this washer for just over a year now and it is a constant source of frustration. I was excited to have such a large capacity washer because we have a large duvet. My excitement was short lived because trying to wash bedding is an absolute nightmare. Washing my bedding is now an all day affair because I must constantly stop the washer to try to rebalance the load. Furthermore, the bedding comes out so wet it took over two hours to dry one quilt. When trying to wash clothing, the washer turns the load into a giant pile of knots that I literally have to pry apart to get into the drier. I also find that when washing darks, I always have to use an extra rinse cycle to ensure they don’t come out covered in soap scum. The washer was so miserable to use, I was sure there was something wrong with so called the approved tech in our area to come look at it. Sadly, all was well. He said that’s just the way this washer is. So unhappy with this product I am considering selling it at a tremendous loss just to be free and clear of it. I’m not sure how this can be called water or energy efficient because if you try to wash anything on the normal cycle it doesn’t come out clean. If you wash anything on another cycle that actually gives you enough water to clean, they come out so wet you have to run your dryer three times as long to get it dry. I have read the users manual from cover to cover and have done everything by the book – including folding bedding in the correct way before I place it in the machine – which is ridiculous if you think about – folding your laundry before you wash it!? I know this post is all over the place – that is how freaking unhinged using this appliance makes me. Will never ever ever buy a Samsung washer and dryer again.

    Great Features

I bought this about a month ago and absolutely love it! The large basin makes washing big items so easy

    Always unbalanced

Wife hates it, should have kept the 15 year old machine. Last 20 min. of the wash cycle has the issue. You have to babysit the machine because it’s unbalanced. Lowes will not take it back because we used it!!!!! Really.

    Dirty clothes stay dirty

Clothes only get wet, not clean, if you use the deep wash cycle. We called because loads, and not large ones, were not all even getting wet. Say nothing about clean. And the customer service rep said they hear it all the time. If we could return it would!!!

Do not buy. Constant error codes. Extremely long cycles. Sometimes I pull clothes out of the washer after a completed cycle, & it’s as if they weren’t cleaned @ all. I usually use about 3x the recommended amount of detergent to compensate. Unbelievably disappointed.

    Not enough water.

Have had it a month have had to run things twice because they don’t get cleaned. Followed all instructions to set it up but soap is still on clothes or some don’t get cleaned enough. Is there anyway to increase water level?

    Rusting after 1 1/2 years

I bought this washer a year and a half ago. I initially liked the washer, seemed to do a decent job on my clothes. Yesterday I noticed rust on some if my clothes and noticed the inside top of the washer is rusting out! The bleach dispenser and around the rim of the washer is all rusted and flaking rust! I called Samsung today and was advised it is out of warranty. Rust apparently is considered cosmetic even if it is ruining your clothes. This washer is only a year and a half old. I am so upset, and totally disappointed in Samsung, their products and customer service.

I bought this washer and dryer set a few months ago but from the day i brought them home they started scratching instantly any little thing on them, even folding clothes on them scratches it. Not impressed at all. Will never buy one of these again!

    Doesn’t work after a week

We purchased our washer a week ago. Installed it ourselves because it’s an easy process. We ran the first few loads on the normal cycle but after seeing how long that cycle took we changed it to the quick wash cycle. Now we can’t turn it off of the quick wash cycle. I spent some time online with customer support and we tried unplugging it for 60 seconds, we tried resetting the circuit breaker, none of those things worked. At that point they stopped helping. You will love this wash machine if it is working properly, it has lots of great features. But at no point should a washer stopped working after one week.

3 HRS for one small load!!

I am so dissatisfied with this machine. A regular load that shows it should take 45min ends up taking over 3 hrs!! Always gets stuck in the rince and spin cycle!! It can’t balance itself, so it ends up re-rincing and trying again – going to try and send it back, I am so disappointed. Going to try and find something with less bells and whistles that just works!!

I bought this washer in Mar. 2017. It developed a problem with the sensor; an error code 8C appeared, so I call for service May 2019. A service technician came but the prblem was not done completely. This week I bother them again; still, waiting for resolutions !
